Parker AC30 Drive Upgrade Project for Bow Type Stranding Machine

Bow Type Stranding Machine is a critical piece of equipment in the wire and cable industry, responsible for twisting multiple copper/aluminum wires to form the cable core. Over long-term operation, older drive systems often encounter issues such as loss of synchronization, unexpected machine stops, unstable speed, or uneven stranding pitch — all of which directly affect productivity and final product quality.
After conducting a detailed assessment, the Kỹ Thuật Việt engineering team implemented a complete drive upgrade using the Parker AC30 inverter for the taping unit, integrated with high-speed Ethernet communication to the PLC. This new system ensures stable operation and fully eliminates random machine-stop errors that previously occurred.
