PROJECT: FINE-TUNING A DRUM TWISTING MACHINE IN CABLE MANUFACTURING
Challenge faced by the factory:
The drum twisting machine experienced severe vibration at low speed and inconsistent rotation, leading to synchronization problems with the payoff reels and frequent cable breakages.
Solution provided by Kỹ Thuật Việt engineers:
The system was fine-tuned using a Parker AC690 drive (90 kW) with Profibus communication, ensuring precise synchronization between the drum twisting machine and the payoff units. This optimization stabilized operation and significantly improved production reliability.
