🚀 Parker Drive Cabinet Installation Project for 2 New Steel Coil Slitting Lines
Ky Thuat Viet Company has successfully delivered electrical cabinet solutions using Parker AC10, AC30 drives and the DC590P controller for 2 Steel Coil Slitting Line Machines.
The slitting line is an essential system in the steel industry, designed to cut large steel coils into multiple coils of different sizes. It is equipped with uncoiling, straightening, slitting, recoiling, and scrap handling sections, meeting diverse customer requirements for product dimensions and specifications.

🔧 Project Details
Ky Thuat Viet recently completed the installation of electrical control cabinets for the main sections including uncoiling, straightening, slitting, recoiling, and scrap handling of two slitting lines. The project was carried out for a company specializing in supplying and installing steel processing machines for both the domestic and export markets.
With Parker Hannifin’s advanced technology, we implemented optimized AC and DC drive solutions, meeting the strict technical requirements of the line — from precision and stability to long-term efficiency.
1️⃣ Line 1 – Using AC10 & AC30 Drives (37–160kW)
Line 1 is equipped with control cabinets using Parker AC10 and AC30 drives, providing precise control, energy efficiency, and stable operation for all machine sections.

2️⃣ Line 2 – Using DC590P Controller
The DC drive system uses the DC590P to control the main sections of the line. This solution provides high torque, precise control, and stable operation, making it ideal for the steel industry.
