Installation of AC30 37kW and AC30 5.5kW with Profibus communication – replacing the Siemens Simovert controller.
In the wire and cable manufacturing industry, wire drawing machines play a crucial role in reducing conductor diameter from larger wires to smaller, more precise sizes. These systems require a stable drive solution with accurate speed synchronization between machine sections.
Recently, Ky Thuat Viet successfully upgraded the drive system by installing two Parker AC30 inverters – AC30 37kW for the take-up section and AC30 5.5kW for the traversing section, utilizing Profibus communication.
This upgrade replaces the failed Siemens Simovert controller, which had caused the machine to stop operating.
