Guide to Decoding Parker DC590P Drive Product Codes – Choose the Right Model for Your Application!
This article helps you better understand the product codes of Parker DC590+, especially the DC590P – Integrator Series 2, and how to decode these product codes to select the most suitable Parker DC drive for your application.
DC590+ Integrator Series 2 Product Code Structure:
The DC590+ product code follows the format: 590P – Block 1 Block 2 Block 3 Block 4. For example, in the code shown in the figure above:

Block 1: Product Line

- 591: Non-reversing and non-regenerative model.
- 590: Reversing and regenerative model.

Block 2: Main Specifications
This block specifies, in order: supply voltage, output current, frame size, and auxiliary supply.

Difference between suffix codes U4V0 and U4A0:
Both suffix codes U4V0 and U4A0 belong to Block 4, related to Speed Feedback and Communications. Specifically:
- U4V0: indicates the drive has standard Armature Voltage feedback.
This is the standard code, without additional option cards.
- U4A0: indicates the drive includes an integrated Analog Tacho feedback option card.
This is an older code. The product comes with an Analog Tacho option card, enhancing speed stability.
Important Note: Change in Parker’s Product Supply Policy
Parker understands that choosing the right drive for each application is crucial. Therefore, the company has implemented a flexible sales policy to optimize costs and meet diverse customer requirements.
Since 2016, Parker has announced that drives will only be supplied under standard product codes, and option cards must be ordered separately. This means that older codes with integrated option cards, such as DC590+ with suffix “U4A0” (with built-in Analog Tacho option card), are no longer available.
Customers requiring special options will need to order the appropriate option cards separately.
Example
If a customer requires a DC drive with suffix “U4A0” (Analog Tacho feedback), Kỹ Thuật Việt will provide:

✔️ Separate Analog Tacho option card
⇒ Therefore, a DC drive with suffix “U4A0” is equivalent to the standard code “U4V0” + Analog Tacho option card.
