How to Upload & Save Programs on Parker TWIN-N and SPD-N Servo Drives

Step-by-step guide on how to connect MotionWiz software with Parker Drives to upload and save programs efficiently.

🛠️ Preparation

Software:
MotionWiz

Connection Cables:

  • USB to RS485 Cable
USB to RS485 Cable
  • 9-pin COM port adapter cable

⬆️ Upload Program

Follow these steps to upload the drive program to your computer:

  1. Open MotionWiz software. On the main interface, select Config.

  1. In the ConfigConn window, select RS422 Binary mode as the terminal option.

  1. Select the active COM Port and click Scan to search for the drive.

  1. Once the device is detected, select it and click Apply.

  1. Select Res.Drive and Res.Motor to upload drive and motor hardware configurations, then press Enter.

  1. Click Connect to establish the connection.

  1. In the Connect window, click Online to upload the program to your computer.

💾 Save Program

After successfully uploading, close the Connect window. Click Save File to save the program to your computer for future use.
